OC
Flock Management specializes in reproductive technologies in sheep and goats. It is intended
to assist producers with flock health and management. It was founded
by and is run by two veterinarians, Lynn Tait from Red Deer and Ileana
Wenger from Bowden, both in the Province of Alberta, Canada. Both are
very experienced with sheep and goats and recognizing a need for reproductive
services in Alberta decided to set up a Management tool to assist people
with these particular animals. There is a large potential export market
for Canadian sheep and goat genetics, and OCF is actively involved in
developing international demand for Canadian stock.
Lynn
and Ileana also run a federally approved Semen and Embryo Collection Facility near Bowden, Alberta. The semen and embryos collected may
be internationally exportable. Laporoscopic AI (artifical insemination) and ET
(embryo transfer) can also be arranged. |
