OC Flock Management often has a variety of equipment for Laparoscopic AI/embryo transfer available for sale.  Some is new and manufactured to our specifications, and sometimes the equipment is used.  We can often source additional pieces if required, and can put together full kits of equipment to meet specific client’s needs.  Please contact our office at [email protected] or [email protected] for more details regarding prices or availability.

Tower for Laparoscopic Equipment (New)         Price:  $48 USD

This tower is used for holding and disinfecting the laparoscope and other equipment while working.  The lid is precut with a variety of holes designed to hold the scope, scope canula, AI trocar/canula, and AI probe.  This tower makes handling the equipment fast and easy during AI procedures.  We use an iodine solution in the tower for mild disinfection.  We recommend taping the tower to something solid while working to prevent accidental tipping and damage to the scope.

Trocar/canula set for Laparoscopic AI (New)      Price: $417/set USD

This set has been manufactured to our specifications.  The set includes 2 trocars and 1 canula.  You will not have to stop work to sharpen a trocar with a spare one on hand.  All 3 pieces are made from stainless steel for ease of cleaning and durability.  6mm internal diameter on the canula allows for easy insertion of the AI aspic.  Trocars are pre-sharpened and ready to use.  Fits into the center hole in the tower lid.

Stainless steel probe (New)       Price:  $120 USD

This stainless steel probe fits into the 6mm AI canula to assist in manipulation of the reproductive tract if required during AI or embryo transfer procedures.  This is a safe and effective method of handling the uterus without damage.  It fits in the small hole on the periphery of the tower lid.

Foot pedal for C02 (New)    Price: $98 USD

This foot pedal is the easiest and most effective method of controlling the C02 flow while working.  By pressing the valve with your foot to release C02 it leaves you hands free for manipulating the instruments.  Comes complete with 6ft (180cm) of clear vinyl hose to attach to your regulator, and 6ft (180cm) of soft latex hose to attach to your scope canula.  Fitting and clamp included.  We recommend using a plastic bag over top to prevent dirt and manure contamination of the foot pedal and make clean up easy.

Surgery cradle for Laparoscopic AI and Embryo transfer (New)     Price:  $           CDN

This cradle is our 3rd generation design, and will accommodate any size of sheep (and goats).  There are 2 levels for height adjustment to allow for more or less tilt of the sheep.  The cradle is adjustable in length for large breeds.  The tarp is waterproof and easy to clean and disinfect.  Sheep can be easily rolled on and off the cradle without the need for lifting.

This is a sample of a complete AI kit produced as per client specification.  We can provide 110V or 220V equipment as required.  The price is quoted individually as each kit is ordered.  The equipment will be shipped packed in protective pelican cases.
